My name is Damian Mogavero. I love restaurants, food, wine and coffee. I also love data. Geeky stuff like numbers, algorithms and metrics. My mission is showing the world that these two passions are not mutually exclusive. Seventeen years ago, I started Avero by bringing together an unlikely team of restaurateurs and techies. And now, I have just finished writing The Underground Culinary Tour, a book that I hope will shed light on how technology and data are shaping the future of the restaurant industry, ultimately changing the way America eats.
